...I deny Nestorian claims, based on European tricks...Assyrians definitely exist...but they are Assyrian...they follow Ashur...they have nothing to do with Jewish religions and gods.

...what happened to the Sumerians...what happened to the Hurrians...where did the Hittites go? The answer is they blended in with those who came to power or infleunce after them...they did not "disappear" off the face of the eart..in the case of the Assyrians they had already been overcome by Aramean influence and culture...and we can see how powerful and compelling that influence was when their language and culture soon came to be shared by many ethnic groups in that region...the language of the ancient Assyrians was Akkadian...when they changed their language to that of the Aramneans they "disappeared"...as Assyrians....just as they gave up Ashur for Jesus, so too did they give up Akkadian for Aramaic...so too did they eventually lose their Assyrian culture, replacing it with a Hebrew culture heavily influenced by Aramaic Christianity.

..it depends on what the claim is based...I denied being Assyrian all my life...and I still deny such a thing as direct and lineal descent..however, it is possible to fall in love with ancient Assyrian heritage and culture and feel them grow within you...but that has nothing to do with Christianity...the Nestorians were convinced by CHRISTIANS that they must be the direct descendants,,,until European Christians they themselves never claimed to be Chaldean or Assyrians..it`s all there in the history you know nothing of...find me ONE instance wheny Nestorian said HE was a Chaldean or Assyrian BEFORE the Europeans came...just ONE...it shouldn`t be hard to do for someone who knows so much about it all...Ditzy or no.
