One speculation regarding RFK's murder was that they (the Mafia/Agency) were nervous about if and when Bobby becomes president, he would open up the case of his older brohter's assassination. Even after they killed him; in '78, bodies ended up stuffed in oil drums (in the case of Mafiosi, Johny Rosseli from The Chicago Outfit), and Sam Giancana, who only days before he was to testify before a Grand Jury, suddenly had a massive heart-attack thanks to the bullets he recieved in his chest.
