"It actually always follows with "church" or empire when I type Assyrian. It's just interesting how they have made certain words in English only for Muslims. Radical no longer means what it truly means. It is synonymous with Muslim and so is terrorist. Militant is also a Muslim. Now they're even changing Arabic and Islamic terms around. Suddenly there is a new english word, #jihadists" and it was only invented in recent years." -- A few decades ago the terms "radical" and "terrorist" were almost synonymous with "communist" or "anarchist". Maggie Thatcher (and a young David Cameron) called Nelson Mandela a "terrorist". It's all about who has the power. A few weeks back I was watching a documentary about Nicky Barnes ("Superfly") who while doing time with a member of a prominent Mafia family ("Crazy" Joe Gallo) got hooked-up with a top-notch heroin connection, and after his release, he set up his organization and became a multimillionaire by flooding Harlem with high grade heroin from the "French Connection", the Sicilian-Corsican-Italian-American partnership that made all five New York families extremely rich in the 1970s. Like most gangsters with a high I.Q., he loved reading, and one of his favorites (like many politicians and gangsters) was Machiavelli. He said this regarding Machiavelli: "It doesn't matter what's right or wrong , according to Machiavelli, he who has the biggest guns determines what's right or wrong". So, as far as using reason to debate what and who a "terrorist" is, those with power, with the biggest guns, define the terms. It's a sad, ugly truth. --------------------- |
