I always read the comments, especially on the MondoWeiss site. These folks are committed activists, many of whom have gone to the West Bank and Gaza and seen the situation for themselves. While watching the aggression of the Aipac goons toward Rae Abileah, I thought the only difference with a Nazi gathering is that instead being dragged outside and taken to jail, the Nazis would just simply shoot the protester for all to see. I used to think that the lobby called the shots, but I'm not convinced of that as much. I watched a film on the CIA where a former agent was saying that when the President wanted someone eliminated, like Castro, he'd say something like we need to get rid of the Cuban problem for the Cuban people, but I'm against it, so that on the record he'd be clear of any connection to an assassination plot, and the responsibility would fall in the lap of the Cuban Lobby and CIA.Another senator recently was asked if he'd vote to lift the Cuban embargo if the Cuban Lobby wanted him to, and he's answer was "NO". I think the two lobbies that wield most of the power are the gun and pharma, and then Aipac. But I could be wrong, afterall, they say if anyone opposes Aipac, they'll be a one-termer. After Obama's speech about the '67 lines, he lost $10 mil. in Jewish support.
