On Mondoweiss, the Progressive-Jewish site, there are sometimes one or two settler/Zionist types (Israel's Tea Baggers) that bring up the "throw us all in the sea" line and, of course, the Holocaust, but the daily posters, which consist of 25 to 30 regulars, all of them Jewish, shut these nationalist Zio.s with just a few lines of truth and logic that they go away for a few weeks, or months, and try again. It's quite refreshing to know that among Jews, even when addressing the Holocaust, this group responds with: "Who cares? What makes us so special? That was then, what about the Palestinians?" It gives a pessimist like me with very little hope in people, something to look forward to. --------------------- |
