I've noticed many people who are opposed to the US empire often don't tell it how it is. There are a few who nail it but most of the critics make it seem as if those in charge don't know any better, they're dumb and make mistakes. I don't believe it's mistakes. They know who they are aiding and giving weapons to. They are not dumb at all. When they say the government is so dumb and "wastes" money, they don't realize they're dumb themselves. It's not their own money they're wasting. They giving tax payer money to big corporations, giving them welfare and government contracts. They know exactly what they're doing. Nato knew what it was doing in Libya just as who is being aided in Syria. These aren't mistakes but well aware. The radicals are no threat to the US. Secular, radical, doesn't matter as long you play the game. If it were about freedom, then they can start bombing Saudi Arabia and Bahrain as well since those countries want regime change and can't forget Yemen with its dictator. Iraq wasn't a mistake, Libya wasn't a mistake and they not making mistakes in Syria. They play it that way and make themselves look dumb but they're not foolish. Reagan knew exactly what he was doing and Bush knew Iraq had no weapons of mass destructions. If only these people were really as dumb they're made to be by the critics, we would actually accomplish something. Michael Parenti is one who comes to my mind who actually calls it for what it is. He mentions how the critics always tell us "how stupid" these guys are. How stupid Bush was and the others. They're not the stupid ones, you're the fools and you fall for it and you fall for it again after and each time. They're falling for the same lies about Iran and that north Koreans want to fight us. --------------------- |
