You know it's interesting that you bring up this point because I had a little debate on line with a female nationalist and big supporter of the genocide. She mentioned that it was a "fact" that the Turks murdered 800,000 Assyrian Christians in 1915. Of course I know that she wouldn't know what a fact is nor does she read books. So I told her that I will agree for the sake of arguement that the Turks killed that many Assyrians even though there weren't that many around and I even wonder if there are that many today. I asked her what about the over 520,000 Turks that died as well in those years and she answered by saying that they died from illnesses, diseases and hunger.

So my question to these genuises and champions of Assyria is simple. Were the Christians in Turkey somehow differnt as human beings that they didn't die from the same causes as the Turks did? How is it that all the Turks who died had to die only from the above causes but the Christians were all murdered for their religion? It wasn't long after that she used foul language and put me on block. In other words we are to believe that every Christian that died in 1915 was killed by Turks but no Christian died from the same causes that the Turks died from. Ther was no genocide and that is why it hasn't been recognized hardly by any western nation except for a few with hidden agendas. No doubt people were killed on all sides, there was a war and it was a tragedy but I wouldn't call it a genocide and they weren't killed for their religion but for their actions. At least the Turks didn't go as far as the Christians would go and kill, women, babies, children and everyone else. The Christians live just fine under the Turks for many centuries and all of the sudden the Turks decided to carry out a genocide against the Christians because of their religion after 600 years?
