Neocons have always been funny bunch to me. They hate abortion but don't care about that newborn when it arrives. They only care about the fetus. Once you've arrived, you're on your own and fuck you. As far as equality, that's their own stupid explanation. They do the same thing when a pastor is in trouble debating a Muslim. The Muslim asks to show from the red highlights in the bible where Jesus claims he's god or ask people to worship him. The pastor responds with you're either claiming Jesus was a liar or lunatic. That's not what Muslim said. Neocons say 9/11 conspiracy theorists say Bush was flying the airplane on the day of attacks in NYC and D.C.. That's neocon understanding. It's not surprising they don't understand equality. Of course they don't want everyone to have equal opportunities with access to education, healthcare etc. They always talk about capitalism is all about competition but it's notso when we don't have equal chance to complete. If I have a broken leg and then I'm asked to fight someone healthy, I can't compete. It's not difficult to understand but it's difficult when you're a racist and don't want others to have the chance of living in your neighborhood or going to same school. No, we're not all gonna wear same clothes, eat same thing etc. Equality of opportunity. We're still different. In Germany, education is free but not everyone is a doctor or and engineer for Mercedes-Benz. But the opportunity to become one of those is there for everyone. --------------------- |
