For a lot of people making money is an addiction with a more power hook than crack or heroin. I've seen some of these folks when I worked in a bank, they all claim that they're workaholics or they love their jobs "married to my work", but they're addicted to making more and more money, not their jobs, or the process of labor or production, for they don't produce anything at all, but money... and they're some of the most fucking boring and shallow people I've met, since all they think about and talk about is money.. just as the dope fiend thinks and talks about how good or bad his last batch of dope was, and how better he dreams the next one to be.
