Unions were bad, but organized criminals were worthy to work with to infiltrate the unions (to have them look the other way when big shipments of smack arrived on the mafia controlled docks, on their way to the ghettos of American cities) as a favor to the Cosa Nostra, who used their power over the unions to "guard the ports from German spies" during WWII. The end result was mass drug addiction in the Black communities, who's street soldiers were once thought to be the vangaurd of the supposed American Revolution of the 60's, using "any means necessary" to fight for equality and social justice, only to use any and all means necessary to keep from getting junk sick and score the next white dose of dope in the hopeless streets of Harlem, throughout the unemployed urban landscape across the nation, all the way to the hoods of Watts in sunny L.A. --------------------- |
