I don't care about what some Muslims do or say but I care about what Islam says. I do not follow culture, family, ethnic or tribal traditions but I follow Islamic tradition which is the Quran and Sunnah. As for what the fate of a Muslim who converts to any religion, the Quran answers it clearly in many places over and over "there is no compulsion in deen" (Quran 2:256) and elsewhere "....to you be your way and to me be mine"(Quran 109). Islam does not force anyone to be Muslim and it is even impossible and illogical. If a person does not want to be Muslim, that is his or her choice but that doesn't mean everyone else sees it that way. In reality, a Muslim has never converted to any other faith because one has to be a Muslim first before one can leave. Being born an Arab, Kurd, Turk, Somali, Runnsian etc does not make one Muslim, at least not by islamic standard. So this is really a false question because what people do is different from what Islam says. There are no Islamic states currently and there are thousands of scholars today who have talked about this issue. Christians get an errection when they manage to find an ignorant Kurd, Arab, etc who supposedly "converted" to another religion because of a woman, money, visa, education, etc but these rare cases always prove that the person was never a knowledged and practcing Muslim. So by Islamic standards, nothing would happen to one who rejects faith, but what people do is different. I know Christians who have killed their sisters, daughters, sons, brothers etc for converting and I know others who have been attacked and their families tried to kill them at least but failed. This exists among all peoples. > >-Could a Christian carry a Holy book / the Bible in Saudi Arabia and pay a visit to your Kaaba Shrine? No Christian or any non-Muslim is allowed to go to Mecca. This holy place is off limits to all non-Muslims and not just Christians. Therefore, it is again a silly question because it would never happen. As far as other parts of Saudi Arabia, they do too carry their Bibles as if you people give damn about your "scripture" but yes they do carry it. There are Christian missionaries in Saudi Arabia and it is from them we hear these stories of "Muslims" doing this and that. As I said earlier, whenever the Christian missionaries fail as they almost always do in gaining converts, thety manage to find a story which suits their misconceptions. How amazing. Let me ask you this, what would happen to a Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Jew or seven day adventist who wanted to build their building in the Vatican? They would not be allowed to do so. > >If you could answer the above question , where I will tell if you abide by the TRUTH! or not. Gee thanks a lot maybe you will become more serious in the near future and start telling the truth, inshaAllah. But you are very funny in my opinion. --------------------- |
