I'm as baffled about Bill Maher and probably more than Hitchens. The amazing thing about Hitchens was how supportive he was about the Algerians against the French but not so with Iraq, a secular state, which was illegally attacked by the imperialists. He was also supportive of Vietnamese but not so with Iraq. He definitely became more republican than these dumb fuck Christians who believe in Jesus and wine and angels and heaven.
