This theory that Yezidis are Assyrian is bullshit. I have never met a Yezidi that said he was Assyrian nor did any Assyrians make such claim 50 years ago. This is a recent invention where our nationalists wanna tag along as much non-Muslims as they can to appear more than their tiny population. Yezidis are stronger and in better positions than us since they are not divided among churches and sects. I am glad they rejected to this so this can be another slap in the face of these ass yrian assholes.
