Islam, like any religion, is a threat to its own people, to the intellectual development of ratinal minds...but it is not a threat to the rest of the world, or even to its neighbors, except for Israel and even there it has ceased to be a threat...and the threat it posed was never because of the religion but for the theft of land by Israel. The only religion that has been and still is a threat to the world is Christianity...Sam Harris has nothing to fear from Islam, if he leaves Muslim people and countries alone and stops attacking them, as his country is repeatedly doing. There is no need to attack Islam as the religion that preaches jihad and world-wide domination...it is Christianity that does this...it is Christian nations who've been attacking each other and everyone else for the last 200 years...and killing babies etc.....not Muslim countries. If Sam Harris was being "scientific" he would focus exclusively on Christianity to try to explain why it has produced the bloodiest-minded people the world has ever known. --------------------- |
