If they did hand it over, it's mostly because the Qurds have been fighting, I mean the real stuff, since anyone can remember....my own father fought them in the 40s, and it was old hat by then. The Qurds deserve their homeland...our dipshits don't. The Qurds didn't beg for anything...they did what everyone has done to get a country...they killed people in their way. That's what you do....and they did it and got killed along the way but they didn't run to Chicago and issue demands.

Why in god's name would the United States put any land or buildings in the hands of assyrians?

Qurds deserve Northern Iraq...assyrians deserve Modesto.
