...Not so, you mentioned ONE war...and gave dates only for that one war...there were two, as my original post and any web page on that war will tell you...it`s a simple matter for you to be thorough on this point...why do you refuse it?

I just called the battle itself the wrong name, that is all. Besides, I never said I'm a "scholar" a "writer" and "historian" or anything of the sort.

What does it prove anyway? It is easy for you to do that, but hard to admit that Joseph also made a mistake of not using other sources to test his theory, which is initself dishonest.

...I told you..his "theory" had nothing to do with Xenophon and how many times he mistakenly referred to Assyrians...it was Rassam who cited Xenophon...Dr Joseph was pointing out that Rassam was mistaken..it matter not a tinker`s damn, to Dr Joseph´s theory, as you call it, that Xenophon was wrong, right or left...there were others who made the same mistake...it was never his intention to prove that Xenophon got anything wrong or right...it has nothing to do with his point..which as I`ve told you any number of times is that WE...we...the modern Assyrians...not the people called Assyrians 1000 years ago or five hundred, were or were not Assyrians..he`s saying that we are in error when we assume that the people above the land are the same as the people below the land...and much more...but you`lljust have to wait till I get to page 14.

There is no such thing as "Assyrian DNA"...never has been and never will be...if you can produce real science, not Dr Joel Ellias who has also gone googly where this subject is concerned...then we`ll talk. You`re begging the question again when you say "Assyrian" group...because that`s exactly the point in contention...we don`t agree at all...not one bit. But good of you to want to.

In other words, Assyrian DNA ran through nearly all modern Middle Eastern people, still living in Asia Minor.

I would be very interested to know if there are some scientists here that can talk about this, to see if this can actually prove who's who in today's Middle East. I haven't followed this study for many years, but it would be interesting to know what it can prove.
