Uri Avnery did have a vision (or plan) early on to form a federation of Middle Eastern nations, something like the E.U., by incorporating the new Israeli state into the Arab neighborhood, and by pushing King Hussein out of Jordan and extending the Pal.s' West Bank (Judea and Samaria to the Jews) into Jordan, making Hussein's kingdom the new Palestine.
