...I say their best option is to all leave...today. The article fails to mention that until the Christian West began meddling in the region there was no greater animosity between Muslims and Christians than there was between Christian and Christian in France...or Germany...or Ireland or England, all of which at one time were mad for each others blood.

..it's too late... and cutting off the escape of Christians from Iraq is criminal...why the hell shouldn't they make the same informed decision to leave Iraq which so many who are criticizing them made for themselves? Why MUST these Christians stay? For whose benefit? Are they now to be used by their own people as well? Are the local Bishops and priests afraid to be left without a "flock" and are the Bishops who fled long ago afraid of the competition from new members and their displaced leaders ?
