They are fully Christian and everyone knows the IRA is Catholic so making it Christian. Whenever I mention that, I receive the same common responses from all of them. A, they are not true Christians or, B, they are not doing it in the name of their religion. This basically gives the Christian a free license to kill and get away with it because his/her religion will never be mentioned. Are Christians to tell me that the priests who fuck children are not Christians? or what about the many popes who gave orders to exterminate mass populations? They play this same game with anything they attack Islam with. If a Catholic woman or a nun has her hair covered, she is a "religious" woman but the Muslim woman is oppressed. A Christian, Jew or whatever has a beard and he is simply called orthodox or religious yet the Muslim with a beard is a extremist. Recently there was an outrage on behalf of Christians about the San Francisco buses allowing Muslims to have billboards and they were wondering why gays weren't pissed off and protesting it as they do with Christians. It is perhaps because Muslims don't take the streets attacking gays and protesting against them because Muslims have better issues to deal with. We don't see imams on the streets doing what pastors and xtians do. We don't see Muslims attacking abortion clinics because, again, they have better things to do. This can possibly be the reason for silence from gays. Gays are actually much more peaceful than xtians ever could be and much more tolerant. --------------------- |
