"That's true. During the Iraq and Iran war, the gulf states backed Saddam financially because they couldn't fight Iran themselves since they're pussies who only beat on women and molest young boys. After the war, Kuwait especially wanted the money back and kept on provoking Saddam which led to the invasion and this was a gift of all gifts for Bush and the corporations because that's how they got into the region permanently. At one point the Prince of Kuwait had offered each US soldier a hundred thousand dollars for their "help" but Bush "kindly" declined it on their behalf. Imagine every US soldier who lives paycheck to paycheck getting that type of money. It's clear that the US prefers these radical Muslims in charge as opposed to socialist and secular. They're totally good with the imams in charge so long as they're open to free market capitalism and they're also good to scare the American people." -- Most Arab nations and some non-Arab nations were supporting Iraq in the war. Iraq was getting weapons and intelligence from both the USSR and US/NATO. In addition to that, the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK), the Iranian Islamic/Marxist group, were fighting on behalf of Iraq from Diyala Province. Interestingly, I think the only two Arab leaders who helped the Iranians were Libya's Qaddafi and Syria's Hafez al Assad. Too bad the Iranian government that Qaddafi and Assad were supporting was the one that hi-jacked a popular democratic revolution and quickly set up a referendum with only two choices: to vote to continue the Pahlavi monarchy, or to vote for an Islamic Republic, which most people didn't even know what an Islamic Republic was or meant. Khomeini and his people fooled the masses by saying that democracy is inherent in Islam, asserting that to name the country the Democratic Islamic Republic of Iran was redundant and unnecessary. Then just as the war diverted everyone's attention, the Mullah Mafia started to eliminate the moderates, the secularists, the communists, poets, intellectuals, and whomever else that didn't agree with them -- including those in the diaspora. There's a Rock song by the British band, The Who, which ends with these words: "Meet the new boss... same as the old boss." -- ("Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who.) --------------------- |
