During the 1920's he used his methods of Freudian psychology on individual psyches... on the masses, in the form of group psychology by manipulating upper-class and upper-middle class WASP-ish women to take up smoking, by disguising cancerous cigarettes as "Liberty Sticks", which became a fake symbol of "women's liberation". Madison Av loved him. He brought in the goods! And then he was invited on a bigger stage, that of foreign policy, at which he was even better when he used the same formula for adverts on political propaganda, or PR, when he painted a caricature of Guatemalan liberal, Jacobo Arbenz, as being a "Communist" with a sinister plan to turn Guatemala into another Cuba. It worked. He was overthrown, and several years later he mysteriously "died" while living in exile. The formula, as you pointed out, is very much like selling toothpaste: "There are insubordinate bacteria hidden within your gums like extremist rebels in trench warfare. What must you do? To whom or what can you turn? When these terrorists reach your teeth, they occupy them in the forms of cavities... and it's only a matter of time until all cavities unite to overthrow your dental Freedom Paradise!
