May Allah (swt) bless this brother and protect him from these criminals and he is a hero in my world. He did something to let these occupiers know that they are not welcomed in Iraq, and those who asked for help from Bush were not representing the majority. It was outside agents, who were out to fulfill their own interests, that supported the invasion but they were barely a handful, yet the entire people have to suffer. The same goes for Afghanistan as well and the only reason the Americans have lasted there for 7 years is because the Afghans have been fighting each other. The Americans didn't have the guts to go into Afghanistan and they also know better because they know the history of that region, or at least the government does. Whenever people of a country fight each other, the U.S. and the Brits succeed and especially when Muslims fight one another. I hope the Iraqis will finally unite as a push out the occupiers the same way the Brits were kicked out of Basra when they were chased out like dogs with shoes, sticks and bottles about 80 years ago. Then those who wanted this war can go and fight their own battles and get their "demands" like real men. Even though the U.S. has a dream to remain in Iraq for a very long time, they wouldn't be able to achieve this if the Iraqi people really wanted them out. As an American soldier and long time high school friend told me, if the Iraqi people wanted too and they weren't so nice, they could all rise up against us and make it a living hell for us but they are good people. I hope they release this journalist or it will cause trouble for them. It is even better that he is a Shia Iraqi and they are the majority in that country and they could really give these occupiers a very hard time. --------------------- |
