I just read that this Pope guy has outspent most other special interest groups in North Carolina, which has or used to have a liberal/progressive counter-culture. This last decade Pope spent fifty million dollars on conservative causes, mostly against the interests of the state's Black residents who vote Democrat. Like the Koch brothers his foundation gives to charities and he portrays himself as a job creator. Looks like the NAACP is growing back some of its teeth, or balls. The interesting thing is that in the news article they paint the moderate NAACP as far-left. --------------------- |
