We have "freedoms" and "comforts" to satisfy our second nature as consumers. Only when the illusion of these freedoms and comforts begin to fade and reveal the cold, naked truth of our system -- which sells us these illusions to keep us complacently pliant -- will we see people in the streets like in Tunisia last week and Egypt this week. But, I doubt this will the case, since the illusion of "terror" so easily reverts the public back to the status of sheeple, readily willing to trade what hard-fought liberties we have for the illusion if "securtiy".
