When my friends used to tell me to listen or watch Alex Jones, I refused. Then one day I gave it a chance. Within a few minutes I realized that he's a snake oil salesman selling poison and fear based on half-truths and recycled conspiracy theories from the John Birch Society (read about them). Like a true Bircher he started the "birther" bullshit about Obama, and then began calling Obama a "Hitler" and a "socialist". His bullshit gives rednecks a reason to live and hate. The guy is dangerous. He and Trump remind me of an Elia Kazan film from 1957? called, "A Face in the Crowd" (check that out too). --------------------- |
