These people think that the Kurds are somehow obligated to give them special treatment or hand over land that they fought for. The Kurds never said that the Assyrian, Chaldean, or whoever else can not celebrate his Akito, bragg about Ashur Banipal, preserve his language, culture and be patriotic, but it will not tolerate criminals, sedition, etc. Is that too much or illegal? A closer look at the United States, Britain and others and those nationalists will feel real stupid. Of course dictionaries don't apply to them nor do laws apply to them. They think that by calling themselves "Assyrians" this automatically indicates special treatment, indigenous and "own territory". I know they are not that serious to think that the Kurds are so stupid to take on the Iraqi army and everyone else they had to fight for Kurdistan and now they are going to handed over the Fred Aprim, John Nimrood, Sargon Dadeesho and the rest of the females basketball team which calls itself "Assyrians". These people honestly think that a Johnny getting arrested shows that there is no way for an Assyrian to live except in an "Assyria". They can keep producing "heroes" that get arrested for crimes and to Fred Aprim those are "persecuted". They lose a person in an car accident and they call it a "martyr". --------------------- |
