...I´ve been told recently by my Mexican friends that no one wants to correct my Spanish because I sound so damn funny...I don´t mind entertaining a few people, at my expense..but I´d be damned before I´d write in to a Spanish forum and make myself a laughingstock for everyone...for the same reason I hate to correct any of you, because I love what you do to the language..but then i think that you go out there representing "us"..and it gives me colds shivers...might I suggest that "dump" is not the same word as "dumb"...and you sound both dump and dumb to keep using it incorrectly...but go right ahead, it´s the best part of you.

...I am as Assyrian as I ever was...however it doesn´t come from any genetic anything...there´s no way any one of us is pure, or could trace a bloodline to the ancients..that´s absurd and dump too. Rather it´s a feeling...a strong inner drive compelling one to to DO something "Assyrian". Tiglath put it bes...Assyrian is a verb, not a noun...you kids talk and talk and demand and demand, you make ridiculous claims upon the world´s conscience etc etc. That is not Assyrian..it´s just plain silly.

One can definitely feel Assyrian...but it shouldn{t make you deaf, blind and dumb. Mostly it shows in what people do...the woman wrote a lovely poem, as a poem...I said so already....but her sense of history is all over the place.
