He is getting tiresome with his flat arguments. On the one hand, he puts down religion for its fear tactics, and on the other hand, he uses those same tactics to undermine anything Eastern - as he puts its "our civilization is better than theirs". And notice how anyone who challenges him is never invited back: Oliver Stone, George Galloway, Reza Aslani. Sheikh Hamsa would be a great guest with whom to debate the issue of Islam and extremism. I doubt Maher would ever invite him. Tariq Ali, although an athiest like Maher and Hitchens, would make Maher look pretty damn silly. I loved how Mona ??, the Egyptian journalist, shut him up the Friday before last when he immediately brought up the Muslim Brotherhood. "Fuck you, old men!" was her reply...
