I saw it. If I was Freud, I'd conclude that Gibson has a thing for S&M: he may have, through his adolescent psycho/sexual development, felt humiliated - and at the same time - excited by the punishments he may have received from sexually repressed nuns in Catholic School.

I prefer Martin Scorsese's "The Last Temptation of Christ" based on the book by the same title by Nikos Kazanatzakis.... except, I prefer a Mid-Eastern actor to play the role of Jesus.
