..that isn't what you showed at all. The question isn't. "were Assyrians KNOWN"...of course they were...today we KNOW about Socretes..that doesn't mean we're going to believe any Greek who tells us that HE is his direct descendant.

..what we need to see is that people called THEMSELVES Assyrians...talked about their ancient history...like the Jews have all this time...they NEVER forgot a damn thing. You show us Greeks talking ABOUT Assyria...and assume that because people then were BORN in a land known to everybosy as Assyria, that therefore those people born there ARE Assyrians...like I said, a French child born in Berlin is NOT an ethnic German for his place of birth...like wise a Persian or Greek or Italima baby BORN in Nineveh in 1000 AD does NOT become an ethnic Assyrian. Is that so hard to understand?

in return I provided evidence that showed otherwise, that's fine, don't take the older texts, but 18th century is not long ago, 12th century and 10th century are also not long ago if we were to compare them to the ancient times, you still have not explained why the Armenians always called us Asori nor have you explained why we spell "Suraya" as "Asuraya", see these are things that some of you don't understand nor will you ever understand because you don't see yourselves as Assyrians, you are Iraqi Arab Muslims who have an agenda.

...I'll provide you with what Dr Joseph has to say about both Armenians and the "A"...I can tell you at least that Dr Joseph is a highly qualified and respected sourse everywhere ELSE but among us...I'd be curious to know what sources you are using.

...you may walk onto any Native American reservation or community, stick a feather in your head and "call" your self an Apache...no problem. But if you demand a share in their casino earnings...your feather or what you SAY won't do. You'll need real and official documents for anything REAL and OFFICIAL. Neither can you get anything important...anything that matters in this REAL world based on what you SAY...when you entered this country,,,or any one of us did...we would never have gotten in if we'd written down "Assyria" for place of birth..for real things you have to GET real. If I'd wanted to put a monument in Turlock I could have sculpted with my toe...our community would have LOVED it...but the world has higher standards...and so it goes with what you claim as an Assyrian nationality...you're dealing with REAL issues now,...you will be expected to be REAL also...what "people call themselves" doesn't impress anyone out there...only in our community.

...sure there is...and I am. I can write at a level that serious people understand..using logic they understand. I have no desire to convince you or any other so-called Assyrian of what they are...be whatever you want to be...my interest is in making sure the outside world understands the games you people play...any accredited professional reading your "proof" would know immediately what to think...you start OUT "knowing" you are Assyrian...so there's no need for you to "prove" anything to anyone....I agree. But I start out saying that there is no evdence whatsover and more than that; that I can show the holes and tricks you people use...that is my aim...and I'm doing it and will go on doing. You're very mistaken if you think I care what you or any other of you believes about being Assyrian....I care to let OTHER people than oursleves know enough to think for THEMSELVES...no one will or is expected to make my word for it, or Dr Joseph's...all we care is to present the information...all of it...and leave it to their judgement. Given enough time...enough years, more and more people will know what to do with these "prooooves" that we've heard over and over.
