Are you referring to the film, "One Day in September"? It was unfortuante that the athletes got killed the way they did. But were not these athletes all in the Israeli Defense Forces? Did they not partake, to some extent, in acts of war or those of state terror against a people from whom they stole land? Do they not represent a people, or a nation, who is responsible for the the cold-blooded murder of Palestinian women and children? And if the lives of athletes are to be defended, and the perpetrators of terror against their lives are to be brought to justice, then what about Orlando Bosch and Luis Posada Carriles, who were responsible for the murder of two dozen Cuban athletes, when the two CIA-trained anti-Castro terrorists bombed the Cubana airliner, killing a total of 73 innocent passengers, four years after the Munich Olympics, in 1976 - should they not also be condemned? Should they not be the extradited to Venezuela to stand trial for their crimes? Orlando Bosch just recently died in his adopted homeland of Miami, USA as an American citizen; and Posada Carriles still lives in Miami, and from time to time refers to his 73 victims as "dogs that needed to die". --------------------- |
