...I never said there are no people on earth today who don't feel a connection to the Assyrian heritage. I certainly do...and my work for 30 years shows that. I am the ONLY professional Assyrian there is. But they're not so stupid as to say they are DIRECT descendants of Ashurbanipal or that there's any genetic material that would prove sucg a thing..in fact, the people who say these things are the ones USING the Assyrian heritage to score pity-points for their Christianity...and to stoke their hatred and racism towards Islam...THAT is what I say...and that's the reason this is the INSIDE Assyria forum.

...you mentioned what the Kurds and Arbas and Muslims have done to us historically...I've been asking you for documented proof for years now...and you have none.

..there are NO "Assyrian people" present...not by ANY definition. There are many who feel connected to that ancient Heritage who also have NO interst your modern Christian nonsense that you are Assyrian "people".

...in conclusion, there IS a strong identification with the ancient Assyrian heritage..but there are NO Assyrian "people"..or "nation"...obviously.
