I don't get it either...well, I really do. Who doesn't think they would LOVE to fire back with a whizbang retort, blowing Dr Joseph out of the water?....but to them, remaining silent OR getting an education is not an option...they have to appear "strong", so they go for our mothers....and what? Feel good about themselves?

I came to discover that the greatest single character trait of assyrian nationalists is self-loathing...they hate the reality of what the are, which is at odds with the glorious fantasy they build for themselves. They know that everyone is asking, "what kind of assyrians are these"? They don;t even make decent Christians...but assyrians???

This is what Nenus is going through right now as he watches for those 999 nationalists to email him....can he think of himself as ever succeeding? And how much satisfaction can you derive from "Well, I TRIED"...when all your efforts end in failure....shouldn't you succeed, once in a while, in SOMETHING?

Here's maggie, gone on a vacation and building it into a Crusade! A battle in which she proves she is braver than "any of you"...well, who ISN'T? And, no sooner does she turn her back than someone either in Iraq or Iraqi, takes down her ASSYRIAN site...and the best they can do is put up a Goodwill replacement.
