I applaud you and your family for taking part in the protest. What worries me is that a counter protest of the "hard hats" is being organized as a means to spark a confrontation with the peaceful demonstrators, giving the cops the cue to move in and do what they do best: crackin' heads! Either that, or like in Toronto during the G20, when a group of agent provocateurs calling themselves the "Black Bloc" posing as anarchists began vandalizing cop cars and store fronts, only to disapear in the crowd and out of sight, giving the riot police what they needed to subdue the non-violent marchers. Already in the states AIPAC has spoken out against the OWS calling them "anti-Semites". They're trying to throw what they can and hope that something sticks. What I don't understand about the cops is how they miss the fact that they too are part of the 99%. --------------------- |
