The American Labor Movement scared the wits out of American capitalists and financiers and Unions continue to terrify them to this day...and that's all the "fear" of Communism and even Socialism was and is: the fear that workers, people, will have a say in their working lives and maybe even some control.

Ironically the heyday of the American Dream and the Middle Class came about as a result of Unions...and that greatest standard of living of the greatest number of people will not come again.
