Thanks for that. Quite interesting. It's well known that Western civilisation was started by our ancestors the Sumerians, Babylonians and Assyrians. Which is what is conveniently neglected by Maggie. Now if you'll allow me to tie the John Jospeh and Ishtar holiday issues together......Ishtar was orignally the Babylonian Goddess of love and war adopted by the Assyrians. Maggie however keeps labeling her an Assyrian Goddess. My point here is why do we rewrite history and try and nationalise the Akito holiday especially considering that nationalism is a modern concept?
