-- I emphatically agree. I would also add that Capitalism, imperialism and western consumerism is not only sustained by the extraction of resources from foreign lands to make a variety of useless, unsustainable commodities for the immediate gratification and satisfaction of the domestic consumer and citizen, but it also appropriates the cultures of those lands and people by bastardizing others' spiritual practices which it commodifies into shallow objects one can purchase (like incense) while robbing them of their deep historical and anthropological essence.
