You brought me to a good point. A Christian co-worker of mine and I have been arguing about this war on "terror" lately. This individual considers himself "educated" as they all do and absolutely knows knows what he is talking about. He was justifying the war on Iraq and I asked on what reasons he could do so. First, he used 9/11, but that didn't work as I reminded him that even if 9/11 was really a shock to the American government and they had no idea this was going to happen, Iraq still had nothing to do with it and this is admitted by the Bush klan even. Secondly, he tried to say Saddam was a brutal dictator, he was chopping off the heads of 2 year olds, sending 7 year olds to war and he was funding terrorists. I asked him to stop watching too many movies and stop listening to CNN. I refuted each of those claims and gave him a little course on Iraq. In Iraq the age of military service is 18 and Iraq had the 4th largest army at one point. I reminded him that it was his country that put Saddam in power and they knew he was a dictator. Of curse this guy had no idea where Iraq or Afghanistan was located on the map. He knew nothing of the religions, languages, or anything else about these countries but this is an "educated" person. How can anyone support the killings of a people one knows nothing about? There was no terrorism in Iraq prior to the invasion/occupation. There was security, safety, and people were successful. It was the Christian imposed sanctions which destroyed Iraq and all of the problems for Iraqis came from the outside. It just shows how naive and easily one can fool the American mind. It almost makes you wonder if it is bad water they been drinking. If you can drag a person along and tell him any bullshit and that person goes along, one can achieve anything. No wonder they want the west to be christians and there are good reasons for that. They want mind control and these crooks achieve their goals because of such minds. The Iraqi people did nothing to the U.S and had nothing to do with 9/11. Is it a crime to defend yourself all of the sudden? I don't think so. If they are not stood up to, they'll eat you live so it is natural to stand up and the insirgents are only defending their homes. The same goes for Afghanistan and all their troubles came from the West. I guess some people are too arrogant and they don't learn from history that no one will be able to conquer Afghanistan and the more these people start these wars, attacks and conflicts with Muslims, the more they end up shooting themselves in the foot. In Turkey young Muslims are on the rise, women want the hijab ban lifted and men are growing beards. The same for Egypt, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and even the Taliban has recognized its error and has changed position and by this they have gained the support of most Afghan people. Neither the U.S nor any western country is there to help or benefit the Muslim nations at all. All the troubles in the Islamic world are caused by the Western nations. When they left and gave these nations indepemdence after long occupations and brainwashing, they left their agents in charge of the people. This explains why an Afghan, Albanian or an Uzbek does not know hardly anything about Islam. That is why there are better German, American, Canadian, British and other Muslims then there are many who come from so called "Muslim" countries. I aguess to the "educated" American taking a highly populated Muslim country, installing a dictator on them and calling it "Islamic" really makes it correct. This same person that I been debating asked me if I were "Muslim" or "Islamic". Do you see how much of geniuses these people really are and these are the ones fighting for their "freedom" and the "freedom" of the Iraqi people. --------------------- |
