...by general consensus...to cut down on the fighting and dying, people decided to empower some sensible among them to make some rules most would agree upon...what gives any body the right to make rules? The consent of the majority, that's who. This was done at a time when the UN was more respected. But it's useful none the less.

Why 400? Why not 409 or 367? So that Palestinians have until 399 to restore their lands and on 400 New Year's Eve it's over? If the UN decided that whoever takes my home and keeps it for 10 years belong to him then should I accept that?

...force, the law of the jungle, still determined international relations...unfortunately. We have binding laws within countries,,,,we all recognize the need for that, but we don't like the idea of a binding international law...too bad.

...the UN had no legal right to steal Palestinian land, or approve of such theft. Because Euro Jews were murdered by Euro Christians gave no rights to Palestinian lands to anyone. I'm talking about what has happened since then...since the Six Day War. As a member of the UN Israel is supposed to abide by the rules...it never has. Almost the first significant act of the UN was the theft of land of Palestinians...not off to a good start.

The Golan Heights have been taken in warfare from Syria (which was recognized by the UN) and therefore the UN had to issue a resolution demanding it to withdraw...

..and they're still demanding that Israel give back all occupied lands...but American warmongers won't allow it.
