You say i'm not Assyrian at all, then who is? Sargon Dadesho? Younadam Kanna? Sargis Aghajan? Everyone who created forums for themselves? Who are you to make the judgment on who is Assyrian and who is not without even knowing me.

...I meant in the ethnic sense...there is no evidence at all that any of us are direct descendants of Ashurbanipal...but we can certainly FEEL Assyrian and choose to emulate them in achievements and courage.

..too bad. I'm not. But that could be because I have a much higher standard for what it takes to be Assyrian...and the few people in that category handle themselves well and with pride.

If these are Assyrians, i have nothing to do with them. I belong to the Assyrians that are represented in the British Museum. No matter what i say or do, people are always quick to make judgements or criticize me because of my catholic faith or by being christian. Not once did i mention my faith in my posting so why you choose to bring that up or comment on it dumbfounds me.

...because being Christian is the one, single criteria for being assyrian...or can you be Muslim and be assyrian?

...take it easy. real Assyrians, who never ran from arrows were certainly never put off by words. Seems to me if you plan on dealing in the world you should learn how to overlook "insults" and not get offended so easily, else you tell people how to quickly dispose of you....Free Speech doesn't bring a suit of armor with it...freedom is the hardest thing of all...that's why so few people even bother. I meant we respect people's views enough not to ban or delete ot tamper with them...we respect your RIGHT to a full and fair hearing...that doesn't mean we're pledged to protecting your feelings...those are your concern...the freedom to post freely is ours...and you have that.

..if this forum, or the world in general, proves too rough a place for you, fine. Stick to the museum, by all means. I figure the only good Assyrian is the one who serves a purpose...here and now and in a tangible way. And such Assyrians deserve an open forum...and we provide one.

..the world don't work that way...this isn't a church social. In the world people tussle, they fight, yell, smile, scream, kiss, hug and kick...it's better to be able to handle yourself than wish to be deleted.

..besides we never delete, even when asked to do so....I won't remove "insulting" posts...not even about my mother...I won't change my own posts when I see I've made a horrible blunder...I could, certainly...but I won't do it. For once in our juvenile lives we're going to be held accountable for every word spoken..and, if we ever do a deed, for that too. If all of this is too much for you then you can resort to our wonderful "Assyrian Self-Banning System", which preserves our integrity and honor, rare among assyrians, by saving us the shame and bother of deleting anyone and censoring speech....for people soon figure out where they don't belong and they remove themselves...end of story.

Why should I become a hangman? better to just supply the rope.
