Last I checked it was Muslims who were protecting the ancient Assyrian monuments while it was Christian invaders who were stealing them and selling them in auctions. In fact, I was reading a book about the spread of Islam after the prophet and sure enough among some of the earliest non-Arabs to have embraced Islam were the natives of Mesopotamia, Syria, and Egypt. The natives of Mesopotamia would have been none other than the Aramaic speaking Christians. These people were very successful and went on to participate deeply in the Islamic empire while appearntly Fred Aprim was hiding in the mountains to preserve his identity while elsewhere people were doing just fine. What the Muslim historians, scientists and scholars did was take the works of the ancient civilizations, add to them their own discoveries and pass it on to us. While reading, education and seeking knowledge is so horrible to these Christian bigots, Muslims love their books and learning. It was christians who burned libraries, books and ended all education in Europe.

Within the Islamic empire, it was almost impossible to even find a person from among the poorest who could not read or write. The literacy rate of Alegria before the french Christian conquest was 30% higher than in Britain at the same time. During the golden age of the Ottoman empire, the economy was so prosperoud that for a very long time it was impossible to find a person who was in need of the Zakat. Everyone was well off and including the non-Muslims. After the Christians reconquered Spain, the remaining Jews and Arabs relocated to Ottoman lands and once again were safe thanks to Muslims. Jews and Muslims have always lived in peace for the most part and it was only under Islam that Jews and christians lived in peace. The reason for the crusades was enmity and jealousy but the pope used religion as an excuse. He told the Christians that Muslims had the original cross of Jesus(as) which was a lie. He told them if they went to war they would be forgiven and went on to loot, murder, steal, rape etc while using the "holy land as an excuse".

These people are evil and they are still at it even today.
