Actually, they're not experts. You call them experts. Simo is not an expert on modern Assyrians. His field of study is ancient Assyrians. So yes, you are a janitor and the people your bring aren't even qualified in this field. The people you bring accept you being Assyrians just because of where you live, what names you use for yourselves and just by mere claims. There is a lot of evidence to prove you people are a fraud. The British who named you people Assyrians weren't basing it on any evidence. You happened to be Christians and living in the area so it's natural to pick you. The same thing has been done in Egypt where Christians try to make it seem the Coptics are the true decsendants of the ancient Egyptians and Pharaoh himself when they're not. In Lebanon we see the same thing with Phonecians and Christians. This is what Christians from the west do. Why is it that we haven't heard anything about you people since ww1? it's because the British used us and no longer need us. You already admit that modern Chaldeans got their identity from the Vatican, but you don't want to accept that the same thing was done with us, but only this time in was the Brits. The ancient Assyrians were a melting pot of people. How the fuck can you people sit here and tell the world that not one drop of other blood was mixed with your ancestors? You people only became racist and nationalists in the last 150 years. The ancient Assyrians certainly didn't have such racist views as they were mixed themselves. Your claims are absurd, about as absurd as Christianity. There isn't anything unique about you guys to suggest that you're different from the people you have lives around for centuries. You're case is very poor and the evidence is pathetic. I don't see anything special about you people and you are certainly not indigenous to Iraq alone. Arabs, Kurds, etc, all have been there for a long time and are equally native to the land. According to the UN, any people who have resided in an area for more than 400 years are considered native. So you don't have a case based on that concept. Before you tell me the UN don't matter, that's where you people complain at and hope you can get a Christian country out of Iraq with oil and hide behind ethnic identity. It won't work and nobody is fallen for it. Kurds and Arabs also claim to have ancient blood. Kurds claim to be descendants of all the ancients and the Arabs of Iraq claim the Assyrians and Bayblonians, etc, as their forefathers. --------------------- |
