Professor Robert Eisenman, who is an atheist Jew, also made mention of this Agbar and states that his story was a myth. It's similar to Constantine how he suddenly saw a vision with the sun and a cross on his way back from Spain or wherever he was, and supposedly that was how he converted but he had other reasons as well. Then we also have the story of Nineveh who who were supposedly sent some Jew prophet to save them. Our boys mention this story, yet don't even realize how it actually makes a mockery of the Assyrians. It's just straight fascinating to me how they drool over this. --------------------- |
