It's all part of the American consumer mentality which I've experienced first-hand with the white "leftist" Trust Fund kids in SF, who to spite their upper middle-class parents become weekend anarchists. When they get bored of that, or when they taste the struggle of real anarchists: factory workers, railroad workers, construction workers, etc., they exchange materialism for metaphysics and shop in the eastern spirituality isle and stop wearing deodorant and using soap, and the girls let their armpit hair grow and begin to smell like Azeri cab drivers in Tehran.

The last time I was around these folks, they said that I have "bad vibes" and should meditate with my eyes crossed while repeating a mantra. My mantra is 'Go fuck yourself, you soft-ass idiot!'
