...now that I know you take pride in believing everything and nothing...I'll be more careful. You're nit-picking...and like I said, I don;t have time...you know what I meant.

Whether you consider these to be chaos is another issue. Polygamy is legal in more than 40 countries and in each of those countries it is insignificantly rare.

...no it can't. Multiple marriages are already illegal in America...we're not talking about things illegal...we're talking about a LEGAL right open only to some Americans...and that is against the law and will soon be remedied, no matter what values Christians have. If you want mentally masturbate yourself to a climax over what MIGHT happen in the future...go ahead.

Mine has to do with redefining marriage. Your argument is more like a circumvention of a loophole in the legal system. You say:

...we are not re-defining it...it isn't defined in ANY legal document to date...nowhere has it ever had to say marriage is between a man and a woman...it is only now, now that laws are being passed claiming it can ONLY be between a man and a woman, are we faced with having to extend this right to cover everyone...we are not re-defining it...we are DEFINING it in such a way as to exclude discrimination...and please...stop trying to jerk my chain....it is out of respect for ideas and beliefs honestly held that I am engaging with you...if you want to show off you don't need me for that.

>= Therefore, the law does not bar two citizens of the same gender from marrying.

...it never has until Gay Rights became a matter of civil rights....human rights....to stave off a Christian move to define marriage as between only a man and woman, we have mounted this counter-effort to make sure marriage is defined in accordance with our civil laws...the Churches can go to hell, so can public opinion..
