It's always easy to criticize and attack countries in the Middle East, Africa, etc, but people become cowards when it's the US. we are told how "horrible" Saddam was, yet the US murdered over a million people during this war and somehow that is justified. Sanctions which targeted innocent civilians were justified and iraqis themselves were blamed for it. The only crimes Iraqis committed was being Muslim and not being white and having lot of oil. America has convinced its population that others aren't human and have no feelings, love and desire for freedom. We are better than them and we are ten thousand miles away because we are protecting people in Arizona. I still don't know what Iraqis have done to america but Americans know I suppose since they are all experts and get "real news from FOX. Another thing that always gets me is when the Middle East is criticized for lack of free speech, yet America does the same thing. Israel shoots at reporters, kills writers and punishes any critics, yet it is supposed to be the only democracy in the region. It is hypocrisy indeed, but people are cowards. They will condemn the weak and helpless but not the bigger tyrant. I hate the Saudi regime but I keep in mind that it is an ally of the US/UK/Israel. I condemn them but I condemn America even more. The only reason Saudi Arabia is backwards and barbaric like that is because the British handpicked the royal family and invented the Wahabbis and put them in power. The father and brother of Muhammad ibn abdul Wahhab condemned him and wrote books exposing him and refuting him. The British(through Al Saud family) made him powerful and these people have been ruling Arabia for the last 150 years or so. They were also used to defeat the Ottoman empire. So when they execute a woman, throw acid in face, beat her for driving or for being raped, I blame america for it. And let's also keep in mind that America executes people and it is supposed to be the leader of free world. --------------------- |
