To be honest with you it is not even a comparison between someone like Fred Aprim and a man such as Dr. Joseph. Do Aprim's and the others even know where Princeton is located at, and the question is what makes him such a "traitor" because he is of their culture and not following their desires? There is no ligit reason to diregard his works. I will admit that had I read his book 4 or 5 years ago, I would be hating him too but that wouldn't change his crediblity nor his reliability. It's not like he is lying or writing out his prejudices/opinion. His book is something that can be regarded as a "source" and all his "proofs" are right there with references and the names of all those who were invloved. Whether someone likes him or not it really doesent matter but his book is not his opinion but reality. What makes him so hated is that these nationalists hate the fact that he is an "Assyrian" and doing this so it makes him a "traitor". They do the same thing to me when they are so proud to say that "every Assyrian is a proud Christian" yet in reality that is a myth. They find out about people like me and others and call us traitors, sellouts and even Arabs. The scrub I invited on here thought I was an Arab so he wasn't so shocked at first, but the real surprise came when he found out that I spoke Syriac, I was raised Christian, I have knowledge of what they call "true Christianity", I had the same "Assyrian Pride" they have and I became a Muslim. This is a problem because now I am either working against their "Assyrian Nation" or I am just doing it out of foolishness.

The bottom line is that they don't like to face reality and the truth hurts. I can speak from my own experience how my own relatives don't like to hear it when I say the Kurds as much as we may hate them, they fought for "Kurdistan" and they got it. They have the balls, the power, population, and courage to do it. So our "nationalists" get pissed. Do Aprim's and the rest of the clowns think that a person can go stand in front of the white house, cause trouble and make certain statements and get away with it? The answer is hell no. They need to take a look at the laws that were just passed in recent years. They need to study the policies of Australia, UK, and other countries they come crying to and see if they view "sedition" differently. In reality no one even pays attention to them nor are they very important. It is enough people to fill a bush or two and they are making threats behind comupters. Just go to their communities in Chicago, Detroit, San Diego, Canada, etc and see if they are all interested in a Fred Aprim and their bogus ideas. If they were so important and useful, they would have caught the attention of western media and powers and not some couple of dumb evangelic pastors who view them as not "true Christians" but like to enlarge their testicles by telling them that they are "descendants of the ancient Assyrians".

It is only in their imagination that they are "feared" and so important that everyone is working against them. There is no reason to fear them nor is anyone working against them except they themselves. Their whole "Assyrian Nationalism" is based on a lie, and one lie after another as Pancho rightly stated. Such idea or organization don't go far because they are based on something false. They have to play "persecuted" and have to fabricate stories of "rape" "kidnap", "persecution", "genocide" and all the other things they been screaming for the past few decades. They think that this kind of strategy will get them anywhere. Only in an Assyria where an Assyrian Christian can't ever be friends with a Muslim can Fred Aprim's Assyria sound good or else it don't get anywhere but even such Assyria is going down the drain. The best thing for them to do is to stop their bigotry, crying, prejudices and hatred and start behaving like other human beings and like the rest of the Iraqi citizens. They should work together for a unified Iraq where they can all prosper together and throw out these foreign coalitions who are behind all the destruction and violence in Iraq.

But of course they are not willing to do that nor do they want to live in peace with others. How could they when they don't even get along with each other?
