I give Maher this, when someone, Alan Grayson, for instance, presents a good argument, he'll defend it. Like I said, I was disappointed in the begining when the Repub.s (the woman and O'Joke) were talking about bathrooms, logistics and bongos; but, when Grayson put them in their place - followed by the extended audience applause - Maher tuned in and backed what the senator was saying about the protesters. I think he's actually paying a visit to the Occupy L.A. folks tonight, based on what Cornel West was saying on the Obermann show.

Regarding Steve Jobs: I wonder if any Assyrians are claiming him since his biological father is Syrian. I say this because there was a middle-weight boxer from the late 70s, early 80s, named Mustafa Hamsho, who was born in Syria. He never won a championship, but he fought the best and retired with a decent record. At the time, "Marvelous" Marivin Hagler was, what they call, "the pound for pound" champ, and he fought him twice for his championship belt, unfortunately losing both times. One of his most prominent fights was when he gave the young undefeated prospect, Bobby Czyz, his first loss. Anyway, Assyrians claim him, and assert that he's Christian. But everytime he's won a fight, he thanks "Allah".. I remember a family memeber of mine claiming George Raft was Assyrian... He did look Assyrian, though.. especially when he was young.
