..I still say this is all at the instigation of the United States, not the "backing"....Israelis do not want this conflict by and large...many are ready for a two-state solution, a real one...but just as in the US there is a neo-con faction that maintains itself in power the way it does here: by scaring people and periodically instigating an "incident" to keep the fear alive.....America is calling the shots and Israel is following, not the other way around.

...this is all yet another manifestation of the "Jews-are-all-powerful" bullshit Christians have been spouting for centuries ad they decimated the Jews...the "all powerful" Jews!
