I'm in the car driving and right in front of me was this tea party guy with a hand written note on the back of his car(actually it was typed) and it said "how does a country that's in debt give billions of dollars in foreign aid to other countries". I wanted to tell exactly what you just said. They don't give foreign aid and that money doesn't go to the people of whatever country. Egypt received "billions" from the US but how many Egyptians actually saw any of it? That money goes to American companies over there and some goes into the pocket of that government(after all they need him to behave and keep his population in check). The people never benefit but that doesn't stop the dumb American with his minimum wage job from saying he's tired of giving welfare to other countries. The only people getting welfare are the wealthy at the very top.
